Professor Nicoline Frølich

Professor Nicoline Frølich is the new (from 2022) Director of LINK – Centre for learning, Innovation and Academic Development at The University of Oslo.  LINK is a cross-faculty and multidisciplinary center under the university board, and has a special responsibility for ensuring knowledge sharing, creating networks across subjects and disciplines, further developing teaching expertise and increasing students learning outcomes. Before joining LINK professor Frølich was research professor and Head of Research studies in higher education at NIFU – Nordic Institute for Studies in Innovation, Research and Education, where she is still affiliated in a position as Research professor II.

 Her academic interest and research involve Studies of higher education; Governance, management and organization of higher education; Public administration; Reforms in higher education and Knowledge policies.

 Professor Frølich is since 2019 a member of Advisory Board UKÄ, Swedish Higher Education Authority. She was also Chair of EAIR – The European Higher Education Society for the period 2021-2022.
