What type of skills, knowledge and expertise does a career and guidance counselor exemplify when starting up a digital career platform as part of university strategy policy? Where does one start – at the beginning or the end?

In this webinar Jónína Kárdal, career and guidance counselor and project manager at the University of Iceland will share her case story of leading a digital platform, Careers Connection, where the goal is to connect the university via students and researchers and work market so enhance co-operation and student career development.

This presentation will highlight:

  1. The steps taken to implement and initiate a digital career platform as a meeting point for students and the work market.
  2. Using university strategy policy to promote career development for students.
  3. How career counselors can act as change agents within their institution.
